Sasha’s professional journey is marked by her commitment to excellence, including serving as a board member for Speech-Language and Audiology Canada, collaborating with academic institutions such as UNBC (University of Northern British Columbia) and UBC (University of British Columbia) on clinical research and development, excelling in competitive roles within hospitals, adult rehabilitation programs, and community settings across Canada
Her extensive experience includes consulting for communication education programs, contributing to a provincial augmentative and alternative communication service at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, and leading dementia strategies in clinical roles both in BC and the UK. Certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT® LOUD) and SPEAK OUT!® for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, Sasha is dedicated to enhancing the lives of her clients through a comprehensive and evidence-based approach.
As the sole proprietor of My Virtual SLP, Sasha initiated this tele-practice to cater to clients seeking the expertise of an in-person speech-language pathologist without the need for travel. In her private practice, Sasha specializes in neuro-degenerative communication challenges and both professional communication and social communication, particularly for adults dealing with anxiety or neurodiversity.
Born and raised in BC and has an MSc. Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta, Sasha is a British Columbia registered speech-language pathologist, certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. She currently provides teletherapy services to residents in Vancouver and all across British Columbia.
